We provide you the ability to have your data sent off site securely and reliably. We use military grade 448-bit Blowfish technology to make sure your encryption is of the highest security level. Once your data is received in our data center it is then replicated on additional servers in the same location. We then replicate your data to an additional data center over 2,500 miles away for geographic redundancy. Every file you choose to have backed up will be stored a total of 4 times across 2 locations. This may sound redundant but it ensures that your information will be safe and recoverable.
There are many reasons why you should always have a back-up plan in place to retain your data. First of all most businesses aren't designed for stability on their network. They don't have multiple levels of Power, Data and Server back-up. Generally insufficient cooling is an issue with most companies, therefore increasing the risk of server failure. Security is usually an issue, one employee making one mistake whether that is downloading a virus or forgetting to secure the firewall properly can often lead to a fatal disaster leaving your data damaged, stolen or even erased. There is always a risk at any business of any size for vandalism, theft, fire, flood, natural disaster, virus attack, server crash or sometimes even more often human error. There are things that are simply out of everyone's control.
Picture yourself coming into work and there was a security breach and some of your files and servers where stolen. What would you do? How would you recover them?
What about the new office manager that was just hired. You had them update some important client files; however, they accidentally hit delete on those files, and they were erased. How would you recover them?
Imagine leaving the office one night and someone forgetting to turn off the coffee pot. It starts burning and the plug shorts out. A fire starts and spreads throughout the entire office. The sprinklers turn on and all your servers are severely damaged or destroyed. You can always purchase new servers but how would you recover that stored information?
Over night or over the weekend a natural disaster takes place without warning. Your office is destroyed or severly damaged by a flood, fire, earthquake, tornado or hurricane ect. Your office can always be re-built, moved or fixed but how are you going to recover that information that was vital to running your business?
